Autumn Gourmet Festival Meeting "Delicious Busan"

From September 26 to 28, the Busan International Food Expo (BIFE 2025) and the Busan Marina Chef Challenge (BMCC 2025) will be held simultaneously at BEXCO Exhibition Hall 1, Hall 3AB.
This event will feature over 200 booths and more than 490 participating chefs, expecting around 35,000 visitors.
Visitors will have the opportunity to experience various global gourmet trends in one place.

This year's theme is 'Delicious Busan', which significantly expands programs linking Busan's regional characteristics with global trends. It will also provide a rich schedule for those visiting Haeundae and Centum City.
‘A Subtle Difference’ Viewing Points Created by the Michelin Popup Zone and Cooking Shows

One of the main programs of the Busan International Food Expo is the Michelin Popup Zone and Chef Special Cooking Shows featuring star chefs.
On September 26, Italian Michelin 1-star chef Fabrizio Ferrari and Head Chef Lee Gyu-jin of 'Ramsay' will collaborate to present a unique blend of Italian tradition and French patisserie.
On the 27th, chefs Yoon Nam-no and Park Eun-young, who appeared on Netflix's 'The Chef Show', will take the stage, and on the final day, the culinary masters of Korea, Ahn Yu-seong and Seo Jung-hee, will combine traditional elements with a modern sensibility for the expo's grand finale.

The Vietnam Special Pavilion and Local Cuisine Pavilion held in Busan are notable events. It celebrates the opening of the Consulate General of Vietnam in Busan, allowing a chance to experience global food culture and taste Busan's traditional dishes. This is expected to be a significant venue for cultural exchange.
Busan Marina Chef Challenge: International Cooking Contest Based on WACS Standards

The Busan Marina Chef Challenge is an event that meets international standards recognized by the World Association of Chefs Societies (WACS). This contest is divided into live competitions, exhibitions, and special contests, providing an opportunity for students and working chefs to compete their practical skills.

The K-Food Festival will host a special competition featuring a live demonstration of sustainable cooking using salmon scraps, combined with an exhibition capturing the beauty of Korean cuisine. These events showcase the harmony of sustainability and tradition.
Additionally, many international judges will participate, adding fairness to the scoring process with experts from Switzerland, China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan, enhancing the stature of the competition. This is expected to further solidify the global reputation of K-Food.
Bread ZIP, Cafeteria and Specialty Coffee Omakase, and Family Experiences

This year at the Busan International Food Expo, the 'Delicious Busan Zone' featuring local eateries and the 'Bread ZIP & Cafeteria Zone' with local bakeries will be prominent. This will be an opportunity to emphasize the competitiveness of local brands.
In particular, the specialty coffee omakase presented by world-class barista Oh Dong-jun will offer a coffee-pairing experience themed 'A Colorful Spring Garden.' This program is expected to provide a unique moment for coffee lovers.
Moreover, a variety of family experience programs such as makgeolli making, cake decorating, icing cookie making, and food goods creation will be available. These elements show how the Busan International Food Expo is evolving from a simple exhibition to an interactive festival.
Schedule, Location, and Viewing Tips: Filling a Day at BEXCO

The event will take place from September 26 to 28 at BEXCO Exhibition Hall 1. The 3AB Hall boasts an area of 8,836㎡.
The opening ceremony will be held at 2 PM on the 26th on the main stage, followed by cooking shows, busking, experiential classes, awards ceremonies, and more.
Visitors looking for hotspots in Haeundae and Centum are recommended to explore the exhibition hall in the morning and have lunch at nearby Centum City Mall or local restaurants in Haeundae. In the afternoon, finishing up with a cooking show and cafeteria experience would be ideal.
Public transportation is convenient, so parking spaces are expected to be crowded on weekends. Therefore, walking from Centum City Station on Subway Line 2 is the most efficient. Classes conducted on-site are popular and may fill up quickly, so early confirmation and timing adjustments may be necessary.
