Ticket Reservation Methods and Schedule
From May 7 at 2 PM, paid members of Classic Busan will have priority to reserve tickets. General tickets will be available for purchase on the official Busan Concert Hall website classicbusan.busan.go.kr, as well as major platforms like Interpark, Ticketlink, and Yes24 starting from May 8 at 4 PM. We look forward to your interest and participation.
The performance featuring Cho Sung-jin is scheduled for June 22. The advance reservation for paid members will start a day later at 2 PM on May 8, and general reservations will take place at 2 PM on May 9.
Additionally, special tickets priced at 10,000 won are provided for middle and high school students and college students in the Busan and Gyeongnam regions to actively support student attendance. We hope students who wish to attend will not miss this opportunity.
Overview of Performances and Introduction of Main Artists
In celebration of the opening of the Busan Concert Hall, under the direction of Artistic Director Chung Myung-hoon, the Asia Philharmonic Orchestra (APO) and world-class artists will perform together.
During this festival, a variety of performances are scheduled as follows:
On the first day, June 21, Beethoven's 'Triple Concerto' and 'Choral Symphony' will be performed, conducted by Chung Myung-hoon with Sayaka Shoji and Jian Wang as soloists.
On the 22nd, Cho Sung-jin and Jo Jae-hyuk will take the stage together to present Beethoven's 'Emperor' and Saint-Saëns' 'Organ'.
On the 23rd, pianist Sunwoo Ye-kwon will hold a chamber music performance.
Chung Myung-hoon will perform as a pianist on the 25th, playing works by Mozart, Beethoven, and Schubert, and finally, from the 27th to the 28th, the concert version of Beethoven's only opera 'Fidelio' will meet with the audience.
This festival is generating great anticipation as a feast of art and music for many.

Beethoven's Triple Concerto C Major Op.56 and Symphony No. 9 'Choral' D Minor Op.125 will be performed. Conducted and played by Chung Myung-hoon, with Sayaka Shoji on violin and Jian Wang on cello, this performance is highly anticipated by classical music fans.
June 22 <‘Emperor’ and ‘Organ’>
Bach's 'Toccata and Fugue in D Minor BWV 565' is famous for its organ solo.
Beethoven's 'Piano Concerto No. 5', known as 'Emperor', is receiving much love.
Additionally, Saint-Saëns' 'Symphony No. 3' well showcases the charm of the organ. In this concert, Cho Sung-jin and Jo Jae-hyuk will perform as soloists.
June 23
Fauré's 'Piano Trio in D Minor Op.120' and Beethoven's 'Clarinet Trio Op.11' will be performed. Debussy's flute solo piece 'Syrinx' will also be included, and Brahms' 'Piano Trio No. 1 in B Major Op.8' will be performed as well. All of these pieces will be carried out by Sunwoo Ye-kwon and APO members.
June 25
Mozart's Flute Quartet in D Major K.285 is an outstanding work. Also, Beethoven's Septet in E♭ Major Op.20 is noteworthy. Lastly, Schubert's Piano Quintet in A Major D.667 based on the theme of 'The Trout' is truly moving.
June 27-28
The concert version of Beethoven's opera 'Fidelio' will be presented.
Conducted by Chung Myung-hoon, soprano Haratchuhi Bassenze and tenor Eric Cutler will perform.
The Busan City Choir and the National Choir will join together to present a more enriched stage.

The APO is a festival orchestra composed of top tier members from Asia, including musicians active in world-renowned orchestras like the Radio France Philharmonic, Berliner Staatskapelle, and London Philharmonic.

Chung Myung-hoon serves as artistic director and conductor, known for conducting the Berlin Philharmonic and Vienna Philharmonic and recognized as a world-class pianist. Cho Sung-jin has been actively performing worldwide since winning the Chopin Competition in 2015. Jo Jae-hyuk, a Juilliard graduate organist, performs across Europe and North America. Lastly, Sunwoo Ye-kwon, who won the Van Cliburn Competition, is also actively involved in the world of chamber music and solo performances.
