Summer Healing Cultural Festival: Taking a Step into Buddhism
In the summer of 2025, a special festival will be held in Busan.
The '2025 Busan International Buddhist Expo' will take place over four days from August 7th to 10th at Hall 1 of BEXCO, showcasing various aspects of Buddhist culture and offering experiences, marking its second edition following last year.

This year's event will have around 220 exhibitors, with more than 370 exhibition, sales, and experience spaces, doubling the numbers from last year. To facilitate participation from not only Buddhist believers but also the general public, the entry barrier has been lowered, and many programs catering to various generations are attracting significant interest.
In particular, those who register in advance through the official website (busanbexpo.kr) by July 25th can enter for free. It is highly advantageous to register in advance. If registering on-site, an entry fee of 10,000 KRW may be charged, so caution is advised.

Meditation Culture Exhibition & Crafts Exhibition
A variety of products harmonizing traditional culture and Buddhism will be exhibited and sold, including traditional crafts, eco-friendly living items, traditional Korean mural art, and natural dye products. Meditation Art Exhibition

Stage Programs: Buddhist Teachings, Lectures, and Mindfulness Participatory Content
On stage, various discussions about Buddhist spiritual culture, healing, and practice will be presented along with monks from the Jogye Order and other experts. Mindfulness content that allows for direct audience participation will be prepared, offering a more in-depth experience.
Hidden Dhama Event: Eightfold Path Card Experience
An experiential mission themed around the essential value of Buddhism, the Eightfold Path, is prepared. This mission includes concepts like ‘Right View’, ‘Right Thoughts’, ‘Right Speech’, ‘Right Action’, ‘Right Livelihood’, ‘Right Effort’, ‘Right Mindfulness’, and ‘Right Concentration’. Participants who successfully complete the mission will receive a commemorative gift box as a first-come-first-served reward.
