The Easy Drop service starts in Samseongdong... Making the beginning of overseas travel lighter
One of the most annoying points while preparing for overseas travel is having to carry a heavy suitcase to the airport.
The Easy Drop service is set to open a new branch on the second floor of the Korean City Airport Terminal in Samseong Station starting May 29, 2025.
This is expected to make it more convenient for travelers to check in their luggage, making travel preparations easier.
What is the Easy Drop service?
Easy Drop is a convenient system that allows travelers to check in their luggage outside the airport and receive their boarding pass.
After leaving their luggage in the city, they can go directly to the departure hall upon arrival at Incheon Airport without any additional check-in procedures.
Especially, customers using this system will be provided with rapid entry services through a dedicated departure lane starting in June, allowing them to avoid the general departure queue and ensuring a much faster and more convenient departure.
Overview of the Easy Drop branch in Samseong Station
The Samseong Station branch is located at 22, Teheran-ro 87-gil, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, on the second floor of the Korean City Airport Terminal. It operates from 7 AM to 4 PM every day except Wednesdays and holidays.
Two professional staff members are available to assist with identity verification, ticket issuance, and luggage check-in. The checked luggage is safely transported to Incheon Airport using a dedicated vehicle equipped with security devices.
Transportation occurs twice a day, at 10:30 AM and 4 PM, with a maximum capacity of 40 luggage pieces checked in at one time. This convenient service allows travelers to move to the airport much more easily.
Which airline passengers can use it?
The Easy Drop service is currently available for international passengers of Korean Air, Asiana Airlines, Jeju Air, and T’way Air. Starting June 1, Jin Air will also be included in this service.
The service area is gradually expanding to include locations such as the Holiday Inn Express in Hongdae, the Inspire Resort and Paradise City Hotel in Incheon, and Myeongdong.
Each location is equipped with CCTV and professional security equipment to ensure that customers' valuable luggage is securely transported to the airport.
Special discounts available from May 29 to August 31
To celebrate the opening of the Samseong Station branch, a special discount event will take place for approximately three months.
General users can enjoy a discount from the previous 35,000 won to 25,000 won, and families of two or more can benefit from a reduced price of 20,000 won from 35,000 won. The benefits can be enjoyed without any additional document submission.
Notably, customers with birthdays between June and August can use the service for 17,500 won after passport verification. These discount benefits are expected to provide significant cost savings for family travelers during the summer vacation season.

With the opening of the new Easy Drop store at Samseong Station, travelers in the Gangnam area can now conveniently move to the airport without their suitcases. This service includes a rapid departure lane, connections with various airlines, a strict security system, and a three-month discount event, providing high satisfaction to customers.
If Easy Drop and Home Drop services expand to a wider area, the way of preparing for overseas travel may completely change to 'departing without luggage'.
The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and Incheon International Airport Corporation are planning to introduce a Home Drop service in the future. This service will allow professional personnel to visit travelers' homes or accommodations to collect luggage and check-in on their behalf, particularly useful for travelers who find it difficult to visit the city. These innovative services will greatly enhance the convenience of travel.
