More than 5,000 leisure sports enthusiasts from across the country are expected to compete in various events, creating a vibrant atmosphere of communication and sportsmanship among participants. This event will provide an opportunity for unity and enjoyment through sports.

2025 Busan City May Leisure Sports Competitions

In addition to the ‘BIG 5 Sports Festa,’ various competitions for leisure sports enthusiasts will be held in Busan City. These events provide opportunities for local residents to participate in sports and establish themselves as events that many can enjoy together.

From May 3 to 4, a skating competition will be held at the Busan Indoor Ice Rink, with about 200 athletes competing fiercely. Additionally, on May 11, a national Baduk competition will take place at the Sajik Indoor Gymnasium, where about 700 participants will demonstrate their skills.

The Senior Sports Competition will be held on May 16 at the Asiad Auxiliary Stadium, gathering around 1,500 seniors. This event holds significant meaning in supporting the vibrant lives of the elderly.

From May 17 to 18, a national disabled park golf competition will be conducted at Samrak Ecological Park. This competition offers disabled leisure sports enthusiasts an opportunity to exhibit their sports spirit and enjoy participating together.

Finally, a national senior tennis competition is scheduled for May 21 at the Sajik Indoor Gymnasium, where senior athletes will participate in exciting matches. On May 25, the Target Race competition will take place at Let's Run Park, with approximately 700 participants entering to add to the excitement. These various competitions are contributing to the development of sports culture in Busan.
