The Only Monthly Outdoor Jazz Concert in Busan, Held at Domohen
‘Busan, Drenched in Jazz’ is an outdoor jazz performance held on the last Saturday of every month from April to October at 4 PM in the Sosopung Garden of Domohen. This event is planned as a continuation of last year's 'Saturday Jazz Club', showcasing jazz melodies from the best musicians both domestically and internationally. It will also provide a stage that offers a special experience through stories and the lives of the musicians.
The potluck-style performance, where audiences are free to bring picnic mats, portable chairs, and lunch boxes to enjoy, offers a warm experience beyond just music. Familiar songs such as those from the movie 'La La Land' and the animated film 'Howl's Moving Castle' are selected, creating an environment where everyone can comfortably enjoy.
This jazz performance allows entry for about 300 people on a first-come, first-served basis, and an audience participation program is also arranged, giving citizens the chance to fill the stage themselves. Such participation serves to enhance the joy of the performance.
Outdoor Exhibition by Sculptor Jeonghyun, First Revealed in Busan

From April 29 to June 29, Domohen will hold the 'Connect (Art Busan)', an outdoor sculpture project by Jeonghyun. At this exhibition, Jeonghyun's representative work, "The Standing Man," will be unveiled for the first time in Busan, which is expected to deeply move viewers.
Jeonghyun's works are well-known for their intense expression of the theme of 'vitality in pain' using discarded materials such as railway sleepers, scrap metal, and rubble. In particular, this massive sculpture, standing 4 meters tall, is praised as a 'sublime sculptural poem' that embodies both spatiality and symbolism. Through this exhibition, visitors will have a special moment to experience Jeonghyun's unique world.
After studying at École des Beaux-Arts in Paris, Jeonghyun has established himself as an artist of note through several solo exhibitions both domestically and internationally. In particular, the selection of his work as one of the ‘Top 7 Exhibitions Not to Miss’ at Art Basel Miami Beach 2024 is seen as demonstrating his artistic value and originality.
