Opening of the Leisure Festival with the Sea, Busan International Boat Show
The '2025 Busan International Boat Show', a marine leisure exhibition held in Busan, will take place from April 18 to 20 at BEXCO and the area around Suyeonggang APEC Naru Park.
This event marks its 11th edition and is co-hosted by Busan Metropolitan City and the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries. A variety of marine leisure-related products and experiences including yachts, boats, navigation and communication equipment, and safety equipment will gather together to welcome visitors.
It is expected to be a great opportunity for those interested in marine leisure.
In this event, which involves more than 130 companies and 850 booths, a business consultation meeting will be held to promote the outstanding technology and competitiveness of the domestic marine leisure industry. This aims to create opportunities to enter the global market.
From Yachts and Boats to Communication and Safety Equipment and Fishing Gear
In BEXCO's Hall 1, booths will showcase various marine-related products, from complete yacht and boat displays to navigation and communication equipment and safety devices. Additionally, various fishing gear will also be on display.
In the special zone, the largest online boat club in the country and a fishing gear brand exhibition hall will attract the interest of leisure enthusiasts.
During the exhibition, consultations with buyers from 12 countries, including the Americas, Asia, and Europe, will take place. This is expected to provide opportunities to support the overseas expansion of domestic marine leisure equipment.
A Variety of Indoor and Outdoor Marine Leisure Experience Programs
The venue will have an abundance of experience programs. At the pool within the exhibition (F-06), experiences such as ▲ transparent canoe ▲ water bike ▲ SUP (paddle boat) will be conducted on a schedule, and in the children's fishing zone (F-05), visitors can enjoy fishing from boats along with prize events.
In particular, a special fishing experience led by the YouTuber 'Tiny Boat Fishing' is expected to be very popular among family visitors. With a variety of activities available, many will have a great time.
At Suyeonggang APEC Naru Park, visitors can enjoy a special boat boarding experience. Participants who complete the QR stamp tour inside the exhibition and follow the Instagram account will have the opportunity to board various types of boats such as catamarans, pontoon boats, work boats, and jet docking boats.
Boats operate 10 times daily, departing every 30 minutes. However, as it is on a first-come, first-served basis, it is advisable to apply in advance. This unique experience will provide a special time.
Marine Safety Experiences and Educational Programs Also Catch Attention
The Namhae Regional Coast Guard (F-01) booth will offer various experience programs for marine safety education. Experiences of trying on coast guard uniforms and training on how to wear life jackets will take place, along with demonstrations of CPR and origami experiences. These programs provide a great opportunity to raise awareness about marine safety.
At the National Korea Maritime and Ocean University’s Department of Marine Sports Science booth (F-02), a rowing machine game will be available. This activity offers a chance to enjoy competition with friends and family while directly experiencing the charm of marine sports.
